Aged Patina of a Reclaimed Wood Buffet Sideboard in Cambridge, ON
The older wood gets, the more patina and colour it gets. Since the raw material we use is over 100 years old, the wood has a lot of patina and a range of tones. This is primarily why we don’t stain the wood; just using clear coat to pull out the natural tones of the wood. The range of tones that comes through allows our furniture to pull together many different colours in a space – from black to every shade of brown to paler oaky tones.
This buffet is a prime example of this. 63″ Length – 19″ deep – 43.5″ height – Reclaimed Threshing Floor Pine – 3 drawers/3 doors – Internal shelving – Premium epoxy + matte polyurethane finish. See pictures below:
