A while ago we made  a trip up to the beautiful Town of the Blue Mountains, Ontario.
Black is always a same option as it will work in almost any space. It is great for creating a contrast with a lighter space [in this case, a lighter floor]. Metal in general is great for breaking up a lot of wood grain and making the table top the centerpiece, which is ideal with our tables.
