An island is usually near the centre of a kitchen; which offers an opportunity to make it a beautiful centrepiece. As our epoxy finish is waterproof and durable; it`s a great option for food preparation.
This island top, which we built for customer in  Cambridge, Ontario; was particularly unique. Not only was the shape unique (built off a customer-provided plywood template_; but we extended the end beyond the cabinetry. With a hand-hewn pedestal base and round shape on the end; a seating area was created.
