[with the amount of distressing we maintain and how “shaped/milled” chairs need to be, building out of barnwood just wouldn’t be practical]. Therefore we source the building of our chairs [not finishing] from a very capable local builder in Wallenstein. Customized Ontario Barnwood Table for a Brampton, Ontario Home
All our furniture is custom built from scratch, so there are a lot of modifications that can be made in our designs. This customer, for example, opted for no bread board ends [the perpendicular boards at the ends that most of our tables have]. While you won’t have the original worn edges at the ends, you will be able to see the end grain of the long boards. See pics below!
