Boardroom Table made from Ontario Barnwood with Innovative Epoxy + Polyurethane Finish

Our innovative finish allows for a nice juxtaposition of modern finishes and old, rustic pioneer barnwood. We do a lot of boardroom tables for modern spaces for this reason. Check out his previous project:

Our waterproof finish is good for many applications; including greenhouse/florist boardrooms. For this project we embedded a steel logo in reclaimed Ontario barnwood:

Distressed Reclaimed Wood Table with Polyurethane But No Clearcoat Filling [No Epoxy]

To really feel all the original distressing, consider our polyurethane finish with no epoxy filling. While this may be less practical for cleaning ect, it may be perfect for your application. Here’s some pics from a previous project. In this case we also did a modified version of our sawbuck base option.

Turned Legs Harvest Table made from Reclaimed Wood & Polyurethane Finish [No Epoxy Filling Option]

Our reclaimed wood harvest tables are custom built to any size/style/finish. The finish is this case was a thick polyurethane finish, with no filling of the old distressing with epoxy. This works in some cases where the customer is okay with the top being substantially rough. The benefit is you can actually feel the barnwood distressing; but of course there’s a tradeoff when it comes to cleaning/smoothness. This harvest table customer opted for this option:

Antique Wood Sawbuck Threshing Table & Benches

All our tables are made from 150+ year old wood reclaimed from historic Ontario barns. You can see this history & patina in the wood. Here’s a recent sawbuck table we made with antique hemlock:

Custom Reclaimed Wood Trestle Table with Lazy Susan

Our innovative epoxy + (matte, satin or high gloss) polyurethane finish fills in all the old Ontario barnwood distressing with clearcoat; allowing the beauty of the wood to shine through. Our tables bases can be custom finished to any paint colour. Most the time our customers do this to contrast with the top; or break up wood grain between a wood floor and wood table top.
