We over-size the dimensions and go over-kill when building our furniture so that our product will last for many years to come.
While many of our customer opt for our epoxy + polyurethane finish, there is the option of a no epoxy/ polyurethane only finish. This sawbuck table customer opted for this option in the greytone treatment [colour of unfinished] colour:
The raw material we use comes from the old pioneer barns that dot the Ontario landscape. Part of Ontario’s heritage is preserved in the distressing of these old boards.

The way we get the unique look of our tops is our inventive epoxy + polyurethane finish combination; allowing us to keep nearly all the original distressing in the reclaimed Ontario barnwood. A 2-post style table is best when you have built-in bench seating. Corner legs would be an issue as people would constantly be hitting their knees. This is a recent project wherein there was inset bench seating on three sides, with a 2 post sawbuck style reclaimed wood table:

For the colour of exterior barn boards; our barnboard greytone treatment is a good option. This adds in gray/browner tones to the thick, interior barn floor boards. Ontario Made Reclaimed Wood Boardroom Table with Epoxy + Polyurethane Finish
Our custom boardroom tables are made from old Ontario barnwood. For this project we made boardroom tables for a company’s various locations throughout Ontario. Here’s one:
