Ontario Hemlock Barnwood Coffee Table with Epoxy Clearcoat

We control the colour based on how much we sand out the original patina. The more we sand, the lighter it gets. For this coffee table project, we did a heavier sand for lighter tones.

The warmth of old patina really comes out with our clearcoat finish. Using local Ontario barnwood, we custom build these from scratch, maintaining all the original distressing. Here’s a sample of a reclaimed hemlock coffee table:

Our reclaimed wood coffee tables have the option of the colour of unfinished, while still keeping the benefits of the waterproof clearcoat finish. We call it the greytone treatment. Check out this coffee table we created using this option:
