All our tables can extend up to 18″ at either end. For this recent reclaimed wood trestle table project, we extended a 7 ft to 10 ft. Given the amount of distressing we maintain, centre leaves would not be practical; therefore we only offer them at the ends. See pics below:

The general guideline for seating is 2 ft table length/person based on roughly 19″ chair width. A 5 ft, for example, would seat a max of 6. Check out this recent Ontario barnwood trestle table project we made for a Breslau home:

Our shaker chairs are a simple country style that complement the style of our tables. On this project the customer opted to have them painted black, which provides a nice contrast to the reclaimed wood sawbuck table top.
