With the harvest [4 Leg] style, we offer the choice of straight, turned, carbiole or a tapered style. The legs are made from the 4″x4″ windbrace beam legs from the structure of the old barn. We build this reclaimed wood harvest table for a Puslinch home with the turned option:

To maximize seating [especially with children, consider a bench on one side or two. To seat 2 people at the ends of a table, consider a 48″ width [as opposed to standard 42]. The general guideline for seating is 2 ft table length/person based on roughly 19″ chair width.
