We custom build our reclaimed wood coffee table from scratch. We keep nearly all the original distressing in the old Ontario barnwood. For this project, the customer opted for the polyurethane finish only [no epoxy]; so that they could physically feel the distressing. We control the colour based on how much we sand out the original patina. The more we sand, the lighter it gets. For this coffee table project, we did a heavier sand for lighter tones. Continue reading →
