To really feel all the original distressing, consider our polyurethane finish with no epoxy filling. While this may be less practical for cleaning ect, it may be perfect for your application. Our reclaimed wood harvest tables are custom built to any size/style/finish. The finish is this case was a thick polyurethane finish, with no filling of the old distressing with epoxy. This works in some cases where the customer is okay with the top being substantially rough. The benefit is you can actually feel the barnwood distressing; but of course there’s a tradeoff when it comes to cleaning/smoothness.
