All our tables can extend up to 18″ at either end. For this recent reclaimed wood trestle table project, we extended a 7 ft to 10 ft. Given the amount of distressing we maintain, centre leaves would not be practical; therefore we only offer them at the ends. See pics below:

The general guideline for seating is 2 ft table length/person based on roughly 19″ chair width. A 5 ft, for example, would seat a max of 6. Check out this recent Ontario barnwood trestle table project we made for a Breslau home:

The primary raw material we use is old growth Hemlock and Pine barnwood from pioneer barns found throughout Ontario. We don’t stain [just clearcoat] given our unique clearcoat finish. The colour of our tables comes from the old patina in the barnwood we use. The older wood gets, the darker it gets. Since the wood we use is over 150 years, there’s already a lot of colour to work with. Our unique epoxy + polyurethane finish allows us to keep this patina and not have to sand it out for smoothness.
