To really feel all the original distressing, consider our polyurethane finish with no epoxy filling. While this may be less practical for cleaning ect, it may be perfect for your application. If you’d like to feel the old distressing, our polyurethane finish [no epoxy/clearcoat filling] may be the best option. With the old distressing not being filled; the table top will be more difficult to clean. For a rustic cottage in particular it may fit the decor better. We keep nearly all the original distressing in the old Ontario we use; which means tops are pretty rough at the unfinished stage.
