Every considered how many people you can get around a single picnic table?
This is due to the no-wasted-space style of bench seating. Consider putting benches around our reclaimed wood tables for a homely, cozy feel. Or, consider doing bench seating on half the table and chairs around the rest [a common choice]; which provides flexibility.
